Sonic Producer - The Perfect Rap Beat Maker? Find Out If This Software is Worth the Cash!

If you are looking to make your own rap beats then unless you have a recording studio in your own home and all the expensive equipment to go with it you will most likely be looking for a desktop music producer alternative.
There are a few about online and some very good options however they all tend to cater to different people, depending on your experience and what you want to create.
Now the first one that keeps on cropping up is called Cubase and this is best though of like an entire recording studio in your own home, but on your computer.
It has every function that you can think of and the amount of control it gives you over your music production is awesome.
The downside with Cubase is that if you want to get the most from it you will need to know a lot about electronic music production and as well as that you can expect to pay out quite a lot of money for this software.
It works out at about $860, so this is really a pro package and you should only part with that much cash if you know what you are doing or if you are a DJ!
Then you have another program called Fruity Loops and this too is very good! This also gives you ultimate control but also has a hefty price tag coming in at $300!
So this leads us on to Sonic Producer and the way to think of this software is if you were to take the above pieces of software and trim them down so all you were left with were the essentials to make your first beat - that is what Sonic Producer would be.
It gives you all the things you need to produce a beat and surprisingly quickly too and in my opinion is perfect for beginners.
The other thing it gives you, since it is a membership site is a community of people that are making and producing music so you can compare your creations and also swap hints and tips.
The way it works is you get access to thousands of pre-recorded tracks and then you just use Sonic Producer to place them into your tune and you can add certain effects and so on...
There is even a keyboard so you can add various "jingles" to your music.
Once you are all done with a track that you like, you can burn it onto CD and take it with you.
If you are new and want to make your first rap beat this would be a cheaper and far easiest version to get started.
However if you already know about music production and are confident with all the elements that go into a recording studio maybe Cubase or Fruity Loops would be worth trying!
I hope this article has told you more about Sonic Producer and the other solutions on the market!
