I don't really consider myself a musical person. Sure, I love to listen to the latest hit as much as anyone, but when it comes down to actually making a music beat or producing a track, I tend to fall short. I'm often envious of music producers making money, who isn't?
Even if it isn't to the extent of necessarily making money, I find making beats is a great way to kill time, or simply just to impress your friends! The possibilities are endless! Do you know a singer wanting a big break? Does your brother need a funky soundtrack to his latest film project? I'm sure you get the point.
I think the key is to discover a software which allows your hidden dream to finally come true! I've signed up to mine, and I physically haven't been able to leave the bright glow of my computer screen for days on end! My first serious beat is nearly perfected and I'm immensely proud of both myself and the software! The best thing is, to get started; you don't even need to be a professional! Hey, take it from me, you don't need hardly any knowledge is music production whatsoever!
It's just the matter of looking for user-friendly interfaces. My only initial problem was that I could only access an older version of windows, which I was not too sure if it would work on. It didn't sadly, but I'm sure there are interfaces that can!
